The H'mong believe that the more meticulously and carefully the designs are woven, the more it shows a woman's ability to nurture happiness and bring good fortune to her family.

This weaving tradition has been passed down for generations. H'mong girls learn from their grandmothers and mothers from a very young age, mastering the skills needed to create beautiful clothes and other woven items. In fact, on their wedding day, H'mong brides proudly wear brocade dresses they've woven themselves. These traditional brocade pieces are not only beautiful; they're also a symbol of a H'mong girl's skill, hard work, and purity.
