"Sa mu" helps green the barren hills, protects communities from flash floods, and provides essential oils that are incredibly beneficial for skin and overall health.  Applying pine essential oil directly to an injury, or adding a few drops to a warm bath, can help reduce swelling.  Pine essential oil also boasts antibacterial properties, making it great for preventing acne, cleansing the skin, and even contributing to anti-aging and wrinkle prevention.
