Silk production is a traditional Vietnamese craft, deeply connected to the cultivation of mulberries, raising silkworms, and the art of silk weaving.  Historical records show that silk fabric in Vietnam goes all the way back to the 6th Hung King era, with silkworm farming and silk weaving taking place in Ba Vi.  Today, these traditional silk weaving villages are still thriving, preserving and developing this beautiful craft through generations.
